The Stripes of Riley

British artist Bridget Riley has recently opened her first major London show in over a decade. The 83 year old artist transformed the David Zwirner gallery adding in walls, blocking up windows and has even cleared out Zwirner's office to make way for some of her rare works on paper.

The exhibition features a selection of her most striking stripe paintings from various stages of her career, including some iconic pieces from the sixties along with new paintings completed this year.

We've taken a look back through our archives to share a snapshot of Bridget Riley's career.
