Kooky Koolhaas

Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas has famously made his mark on some of the world's major cities including Beijing, Seattle and London.

Last week saw the opening of the 14th Venice Architecture Biennale, directed by Koolhaas himself.
The unconventional architect took the opportunity to explore the fundamentals of our buildings in a unique way. With features including an exploded false ceiling and a historical lineup of lavatories, the exhibition has been making waves in the world of architecture.

We've taken a look back through our archives at some of Rem Koolhaas' finest work.
