Jeweller to the Tsars

Peter Carl Fabergé made his name as jeweller and goldsmith to the Russian Imperial Court at the end of the 19th Century.

Known for creating exquisite jewelled eggs for the Tsar and his family, the Fabergé name soon became known worldwide for their skill and craftsmanship.

These qualities have certainly not been lost over time, as the Fabergé brand is still considered to be one of the leading names in the luxury jewellery industry.

This month, an exhibition of 240 Fabergé items has opened in Montreal, Canada. We thought it would be fitting to share just a taste of what our archives hold on the Fabergé brand.
