Isabella Blow: Hat Lady

Isabella Blow was a magazine editor with extraordinary style who soon became known as one of the leading names in the British fashion industry.

Known for her exceptional eye for talent, Blow is credited with scouting the late Alexander McQueen and renowned milliner Philip Treacy. With her love of hats, Blow became a muse for  Treacy which further secured her trademark hat obsession.

Since her tragic death in May 2007, Isabella Blow's extensive collection of couture has been auctioned and exhibited, most recently at Somerset House earlier this year.

Take a look at a selection of press clippings taken from our archives.
