THERE'S NEVER A MORE BORING PERSON TO THAT OF THEM SAYING "I TOLD YOU SO" (OSCAR WILDE)

THERE'S NEVER A MORE BORING PERSON TO THAT OF THEM SAYING "I TOLD YOU SO" (OSCAR WILDE)

Well I suspect I'm one of these boring people in as much that 'Dave ' Cameron supported the unsupportable for about a month and finally accepted Andrew Mitchell's resignation only yesterday!!

The damage that this much delayed decision has taken will haunt Cameron and his Tory back benchers for the foreseeable future and could well be another 'nail in the coffin'  of their prospects of becoming the next government when ever the election may be called in the next2/3 years.

'They' add a further 'turn off' to the electorate in that they never stop showing 'we' voters that they never  appear to know how to handle themselves in times of division and crises albeit most being of their own making.

I believe there's a point in the much mentioned appraisal of these weak, fudged and woolly decisions where they appear to show that what ever their education, training and lack of any form of commerciality and street nous that they don't know how to handle the situation and prove that they've never been taught

"TO GRASP THE NETTLE"

Below is the blog I sent out

I rarely get unduly agitated by the actions of our politicians whether here in the UK or by governments globally as they are so predictable in their quest to not lose the support of the voters and thereby 'play the game' of politics by never truly answering probing questions.

I think Andrew Mitchell took the true biscuit in his ridiculous non committal answers to what on the face of it were verifiable accusations as to what was said and the words used.

The trouble is that Cameron's shortcomings, weaknesses and egocentric behaviour can be exposed by spontaneous decisions and his inability to strike the correct balance in his press releases and cause a change of the nation's thinking, almost as quickly as a flick of a switch.

The relentless media are keen to pump up all aspects of the quite ludicrous nonsense from Andrew Mitchell and going apoplectic at such 'treasures' as given to them by the Posh Boy '1' Mitchell and possibly the wrong action by the Posh Boy '2' Cameron.

All this coverage makes for riveting press and a delight for 'paperclippers' such as myself and thereby my archives and in turn the students and historians of politics and social history..

David Cameron is definitely aware of a sweeping acknowledgement that his Tory Party is generally seen as a group of privileged POSH BOYS and Andrew Mitchell's outburst by calling the police officers " ******* plebs" went along way to confirm the nation's opinions.

I think Cameron made the incorrect appraisal and decisions in not showing the strength of character to fire Andrew Mitchell albeit it would have greatly annoyed a number of his backbenchers and in turn possibly be viewed as yet another 'wooly' decision.

For my part I believe that this latest fudge/muck up/timidity is the TIPPING POINT of Cameron and possibly the Tory Party .

Watch this space for a reaction to the opinion polls over the next couple of years.

TIPPING POINT FOR MITT ROMNEY?

Cameron's TIPPING POINT being possibly not dissimilar to Mitt Romney's quote (off record) about the 47% of the American population being 'government - dependent victims' - this utterance being the TIPPING POINT for Romney in the run up to the impending Presidential elections on November 6th.?
