1981 TO 1995

As promised in my last blog I've now dug out a few more pictures from my archives, this batch being from 1981 to 1995

It might sound a little self congratulatory but I marvel at the depth of images I've amassed over these 35 years and how interesting they are when comparing and fitting the styles to the varying periods!

These pictures are all part of our 'social history'

Remember what is said about "precursors?  - The last decade of a century and in our case now the last decade on a millennium as well are the forerunners to what takes place in the next century.

The key rationale and daily mantra that I adopted when clipping was that for the historians, students and the curious I made a point of tracking all things - STYLE & DESIGN for the back to back decades that straddle the century/millennium  1990 - 2010

Having quoted my focus up until 2010 begs the question as to why I'm still clipping, now in my mid 70's????????
