Sporting Greats - Adidas' Marketing Campaigns
Being topical, and having read the Adidas' marketing/advertising budget for the 201 London Olympics was $100,000,000 we had a look in our archives of Adidas adverts and we've been posing the question amongst ourselves as to whether Stella McCartney's designs over the last few years has enhanced the attraction of Adidas branded products.
Our conclusion is that Stella's input has been a plus in all products that she's designed and we feel sure that this has helped Adidas' profile.
The question is, does she deserve a medal and if yes, which one?
The consensus in our office is that she should be awarded a gold.
Of interest, we have a massive historical file on Stella going back to when she first began at St Martins.
