A few years back I met a delightful entrepreneurial chum - Stephen Culley - in Fremantle in Australia who had been an Art teacher in local schools and was seconded to teach Art to certain Aboriginal inmates who were interned in a jail in the North West Territory.
The result was that he met Jimmy Pike and subsequently Doris Gingingara both of whom he then represented and took these quite novel examples of authentic art by interpreting 'these works' into 'real' designs to the States ,France and the UK where they were received to great accolades.
As always, these chance 'times' in one's life can create pursuits of adventure, intrigue and discovery.
TOTAL MAGIC
