Nick subsequently move on to be Man. Dir. and equity stake holder in Hobbs. Tragically he died last year and is an enormous loss to us all.

I brokered this deal on behalf of Jeff Banks (50%) and Jeffrey Bourne (50%) who owned Boules and subsequently became close friends of both Kevin and Nick Samuel |
The key site that Kevin and Karen were after was the Boules store in Covent Garden which having refitted and personalised it with the 'Karen Millen' handwriting was doing about £2 million a week and this was in the mid 90's!!

Kevin and Karen sold Karen Millen to Oasis Group which at the time was controlled by the Icelandic conglomerate Baugur Group in 2004. After which the 'fun and madness' on the British High Streets really began to the benefit of the all those involved but unfortunately ending in tears in 2009 when Baugur went into receivership

Karen Millen already had a store on the Kings Road and after the purchase of the 6 stores from Boules they had an extra one. I believe this is the revamped and fascia'd old Boules store |
