'Made to Fit'
Continuing
with today’s theme of showcasing and celebrating the talent of British menswear
designers, we would like to formally introduce you to Charlie Allen.
Allen is a third generation bespoke tailor
who studied at the Royal College of Arts,
and has since gone on to make his mark on the British menswear scene when he
infused style to the England football team kit in 2009, and became the first
designer to collaborate with ASDA. Charlie’ menswear collection with George
at ASDA launched in Winter 2010 as part of ASDA’s
push towards quality. Alongside this he has worked with a variety of emerging
menswear designers, celebrities and fashion houses including Austin Reed, John Lewis, Lenny Henry
and Louise Dalton.
