Niki de Saint Phalle born 1930  died 2002

 

 

 

Niki moved to New York when she was 7 years in1937 she being the daughter of  French father and a French - American mother

I've always admired the originality of her work and was able to show my teenage children that were around between Christmas and the New Year some 25/30 years ago when we occasionally went for a few days of 'culture' in Paris

I lucked out in 2008 when she had a retrospective in Tate Liverpool
