We have a burgeoning collection of Laura Ashley catalogues. Looking through a selection of 1980's publications this morning this 'Summer 1989' look book caught our eye due to its likeness to American Apparel's style.

Who knew Laura Ashley - synonymous with the quintessential English Housewife and American Apparel - for the modern day hipster - could have so much in common?
