There's no sin in repeating oneself

There seems to be a continuing interest over the ages, particularly with regard to photography where the image content is visually symmetrical.

I noticed this some 25 years ago and repeatedly publishers depict these intriguing images. In some ways it's not dissimilar from repeat or step-and -repeat designs in fabric and wallpaper designs.
