A History of Hermès

This week it was announced that Hermès' artistic director Christophe Lemaire will be leaving the French fashion house, his last show being Paris Fashion Week in October

Lemaire joined Hermès in 2010, replacing enfant terrible Jean Paul Gaultier who famously livened up the brand's horsey heritage with his provocative designs.

As we enter a new chapter of the Hermès story, we thought we'd share some of our favourite moments of the last few decades.
